A world to discover just beyond Venice
Treviso is a lovely jewel of a town only 40 minutes by train from the city of Venice and just 30 mins from the Venice airport, capital of its own province which boasts an extraordinary collection of art, history, beautiful landscapes both natural and man-made. With a geography that ranges from the plain of the Po valley to the dramatic Prosecco Hills to the mountains of Pre-Alps, this area was once the summer retreat of the Venetian aristocrats, which today leave their mark in the lovely villas, castles and hill towns that dot the lovely countryside, flanked by many nature reserves offering a welcome relief from the very urban setting of Venice.

Treviso
Hometown of the Benetton family and the highly-prized raddichio, Treviso is a small walled city that boasts a surprisingly large output of art and culture. Though packed beautiful architecture and canals in equal measure, it still manages to be dramatically different from Venice which lies only 30 minutes away.

Cison di Valmarino and Serravalle
Guided walk of Cison di Valmarino and Serravalle, with lunch. Considered one of the prettiest villages in the region, Cison is also dominated by the spectacular castle of Castelbrando, where you can spend a night or two (or three!). Bassano del Grappa
