There really is no better place to go to in the summer than what many would consider to be the most beautiful mountains in the Europe, if not the world. Spectacular, awe-inspiring, and sublime are just some of the superlatives that come to mind when describing the Dolomites, which since 2009 have been included among the nearly 60 UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Italy. Come and enjoy not only the breathtaking scenery but also the unique foods and way of life that encompass three different cultures, the flora and fauna, as well as the opportunity for optional walks and hikes through some of the most evocative landscapes anywhere.

  • This very special inaugural tour is limited to a maximum group size of just 6 persons
  • Possibly the only tour available that focuses on just the Dolomites alone.
  • Discover a surprising part of Italy where the main spoken language is not Italian but a very local version of German and the rare and little-known Romance language called Ladin.
  • Visit the South Tyrol Museum of Archaeology and meet Ötzi, the 5300 year old mummy, the oldest ever found in Europe thus far.
  • Spend a night in a real mountain refuge. See Day 4 of our Tour Programme.
  • Learn about alpine flora and fauna from our expert guide.
  • Strategically-located quality accommodations in the heart of town or on the mountain, where all you need to do to enjoy each place is to step out of the front door!
  • Authentic regional and local cuisine, with fresh local ingredients
  • Sights off the beaten track and secret locations no other tour will ever take you to see, including some not normally accessible to the public
  • Generous amount of personal time for you to go shopping, visit a museum of your choice, or simply relax and savour the ambience.
  • Easy walks are included in the price of the tour, while optional hikes on more challenging terrain are offered for the adventurous at a small supplementary charge. We have planned sufficient time in the schedule to allow for this!
  • Transfer by train from Venice-Mestre or Milan Central railway stations to Bolzano is included in the price of the tour, along with the eventual transfer from Cortina d'Ampezzo to Venice-Mestre railway station or Venice Marco Polo Airport after your tour ends.

This is what our customers have said of the Dolomites during their private visit in 2016:

We had a wonderful time in the lovely village of Cortina d'Ampezzo up in the Dolomites mountains of Italy. Enjoyed the beautiful golden sunrise, the snow-capped mountains and crisp mountain air. We even managed a short trek at the Lavaredo Pass which gave us a close up to the awesome Dolomites! Many thanks to Eu Chai and Ergo: Travel for making arrangements for the travel and accommodation.
